On the south edge of Litchfield you will find Lake Ripley. Lake Ripley is surrounded by a campground, Memorial Park, West Ripley Park, Anderson Gardens and Litchfield Golf Club which has an 18-hole course and a clubhouse.
In the heart of downtown, is Central Park that features “Music In the Park” during the summer.
In the northeast section of Litchfield you will find all types of recreation near the High School. Located here are the football field, tennis courts, softball diamonds, a basketball court, a soccer field, an outdoor skating rink, a horseshoe court and baseball fields including the home field of the Litchfield Blues. You will also find the Civic Arena with indoor ice for hockey and figure skating, plus a skate park.
Located 6 miles Northeast of Litchfield is the Forest City Stockade. The Stockade, and the two-story museum within, stands as a memorial to the brave pioneers who settled here and sought safety behind its walls during the Sioux Indian Uprising of 1862.
There are 10 parks located around Meeker County including Koronis Regional Park and trail.
