Holds and Interlibrary Loans

| 1. Click on Search Pals Catalog |
| 2. Follow Search Guide Steps |
| 3. If the item is held in Litchfield, click on "Location Details" to see if it is available now. If not available, go to previous page and click "Hold" button. If it is not held in Litchfield, click on the "Interlibrary Loan" button. |
| 4. Fill in your library card barcode number and password. Type in a date you need the item for or just a date beyond the circulation time. For example, if it is a 28 day item add 30 days. |
| 5. If the item is not found in PLS catalog, try MnLink catalog. Click on Search, enter your library card number and password, select All MN libraries in the pull down menu for Choose a Library Group. |
| 6. If found in MnLink, go to the Interlibrary Loan Page in Pals and fill in the form. Be sure to put "MnLink" in the Where Found box. |
| 7. You will be called by the library when your request is filled. Remember to bring the library card that you requested the items with in Interlibrary Loans. |
