The Litchfield Chamber Board of Directors develops the organization’s priorities and program of work at its annual strategic planning session. The plan is based on feedback from the annual member survey, one-on-one visits and focus groups.
The Business Plan is focused on three strategic priorities:
Economic Development – Creating economic and job growth.
Public Policy/Advocacy – Influencing the outcome of decisions made at all levels of government that impact business.
Business Resources – Helping you work smarter and grow your business.
Our three areas of focus this year include:
Increase the awareness of the Chamber’s work and value for young professionals.
Board Leadership: Dr. Mike Patten (Patten Chiropractic), Mike Doering (Systems West/Agri Systems), Dawn Jansen (Center National Bank).
Foster a cross-functional team to develop a process to help businesses grow.
Board Leadership: David Corneil (Conway, Deuth & Schmeising), Greg Langmo (Langmo Farms), Tim Rauenhorst (Minnesota Rubber & Plastics).
Utilize the membership dues structure to increase revenue in 2011.
Board Leadership: Dennis Gartner (Litchfield Building Center), Beth Kannas (Walmart).
